reading project

reading project

當因為疫情而停課時,我們做了一個最大的工程---reading project

(the house)

(the book)

There was a house in a big, clean park, and there was a family in that house: two adults and three children. This family had an enemy who wanted to kill their children, and he did it, he killed two of them. The adults knew about this so they moved away. Some workers found this house was abandoned, so they tore down the house, and then that place became a park.

One hundred years later, that story had become a legend, but most people didn’t believe it.  Someone tested it out, wanting to see if the legend was true or not, so they built a house. Many people warned them, but they didn’t listen. Two weeks later, the house was finished, and they lived there for a long time until the same thing happened again, and they moved away, again.

Every one hundred years, the same thing happened again and again, until Kevin appeared.

Kevin was smart; he knew how to end this cycle. He told everyone to turn that park into a graveyard, and then nobody would want to build a house there, so the cycle would end. One hundred years later, that graveyard still is a graveyard! The villagers are so happy, and they don’t have to worry about the cycle again, maybe…..

Reflection:

I think this book is a little bit scary, but still, it’s a cool book. I think the cycles are very complex and strange, but it happens in our life everyday, and we don’t feel it. I think the cycle is just like a déjà-Vu. It’s strange, but cool.(This took me like 8 hours LOL.)
